Anti-bullying Stands
As a school, we take bullying and its impact seriously. Bullying of any form is not tolerated in our school, whether carried out by a child or an adult. Bullying is unacceptable in any form and the offender would face a strict punitive measure. We are committed to making all the pupils feel safe and secure while attending school. This will be achieved with the help of parents, pupils, teachers and the management.
Discipline
The HAPPY DAYS SCHOOL discipline policy is concerned about the behavior and safety of your child and others. We believe that love, firmness and consideration of each child are outstanding elements of effective discipline. We want all pupils to value and consider the needs of others at all times. We believe in the need for working closely with parents to ensure good behavior for all children. While we make them experience the consequences for misbehaviour, we also reward them for good behavior, polite manners and attitude to work.
THE PROFILE OF OUR DIRECTOR
HD School is the dream and vision of our Director, Mrs. Adekemi Badmos, a graduate of the University of Ilorin. She possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma degree in Education and Executive Education for Owners Managers Programme (OMP) of Lagos Business School.
Mrs. Badmos has a great passion for working with children and ensuring they are well taken care of. Her zeal for the welfare of children and the desire to raise a happy child and be a trailblazer in the provision of holistic and innovative education in Nigeria spurred her vision of establishing a school.
Mrs. Badmos has attended various courses both locally and internationally some of which are: The Early Years Foundation Stage training at Thames Valley University, Reading Campus, United Kingdom, Professional Child Care Training by the Mobile Crèche Company, United Kingdom and Jolly Phonics Training among others.
She has over thirty years of work experience as a Teacher, Banker and an Administrator. She was a Banker for 18 years and resigned as the Treasurer, Skye Bank Plc to set up HD school. She also at a time was a Financial Consultant at the African Union, Peace and Securities Department in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. She sat on the Board of Executives of the Parents Teachers Association in Corona Secondary School, Agbara (2009/2010), Matron Blue House, Green Springs School, Anthony (2011-2015) and Secondary School Representative, Green Springs School Anthony (2019-2021).
She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Certified First-Aid personnel of Nigerian Red Cross Society and a member of Lions Club International where she served as the club’s president with numerous completed projects as part of her achievements.
Despite her very busy schedule, she spends quality time with her loving family while also serving as a Minister of God. Mrs Adekemi Badmos believes that our immediate environment is “our Nigeria” where everything must work and she ensures everything works around her.

Happy Days School is a purpose-built school with modern infrastructure that gives a child a conducive learning atmosphere. It is situated within Gbagada neighbourhood in Lagos, Nigeria. Our operating hours are flexible but structured within 6:00am to 6:30pm. A day school for Crèche, Nursery and Primary education. Our children are between the ages of 2 months to 11 years old.
HDSchool began in July 1st, 2007 with a 2-months old baby. We accept children of all races and religions, treating each with respect. We encourage students to be life- long learners by instilling in them our core values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Accountability and Love.
We operate an Open-Door Policy with all stakeholders and ready to take feedback. We value academic success and also encourage talents of all kinds which include and not limited to arts, drama, music, public speaking, dance and sports.
