Anti-bullying Stands
As a school, we take bullying and its impact seriously. Bullying of any form is not tolerated in our school, whether carried out by a child or an adult. Bullying is unacceptable in any form and the offender would face a strict punitive measure. We are committed to making all the pupils feel safe and secure while attending school. This will be achieved with the help of parents, pupils, teachers and the management.
Discipline
The HAPPY DAYS SCHOOL discipline policy is concerned about the behavior and safety of your child and others. We believe that love, firmness and consideration of each child are outstanding elements of effective discipline. We want all pupils to value and consider the needs of others at all times. We believe in the need for working closely with parents to ensure good behavior for all children. While we make them experience the consequences for misbehaviour, we also reward them for good behavior, polite manners and attitude to work.
THE PROFILE OF OUR DIRECTOR
HD School represents the cherished dream and vision of our Director, Mrs. Adekemi Badmos (FNIM, MCIoD).
A distinguished graduate of the University of Ilorin, she is deeply passionate about working with children and dedicated to ensuring their holistic growth and well-being
Mrs. Badmos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. In addition, she has completed the prestigious Executive Education for Owners Managers Programme (OMP) at Lagos Business School. Her academic achievements, combined with her unwavering dedication to nurturing young minds, form the foundation of HD School’s commitment to excellence in education and child development.
Mrs. Adekemi Badmos (FNIM, MCIoD) has enriched her expertise through numerous professional courses both locally and internationally. Notably, she completed the Early Years Foundation Stage training at Thames Valley University, United Kingdom and Professional Child Care Training with the Mobile Crèche Company, United Kingdom, among others.
With over forty years of diverse professional experience, Mrs. Badmos has excelled as a teacher, banker, and administrator. She dedicated 18 years to the banking industry, culminating her career as Treasurer of Skye Bank Plc before resigning to establish HD School. Her leadership extended beyond the financial sector, serving as a Financial Consultant at the African Union’s Peace and Security Department in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Her commitment to education and child development is further reflected in her active involvement in school governance. She served on the Board of Executives of the Parents Teachers Association at Corona Secondary School, Agbara (2009–2010), as Matron of Blue House at Green Springs School, Anthony (2011–2015) and as Secondary School Representative at Green Springs School, Anthony (2019–2021).
Mrs. Adekemi Badmos (FNIM, MCIoD) is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors. She is also a Certified First-Aid Personnel of the Nigerian Red Cross Society. Beyond her professional affiliations, she is an active member (Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow) of Lions Clubs International, where she successfully executed numerous impactful projects. She is a Minister of God, reflecting her dedication to service and humanity.
Mrs. Adekemi Badmos firmly believes that every child has the innate potential to succeed when nurtured within a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment. Her leadership philosophy is anchored on the values of Service, Integrity and Excellence. As a leader, she is deeply committed to empowering teachers, inspiring students and fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with parents to ensure holistic child development and academic success.

Happy Days School is a purpose-built school with modern infrastructure that gives a child a conducive learning atmosphere. It is situated within Gbagada neighbourhood in Lagos, Nigeria. Our operating hours are flexible but structured within 6:00am to 6:30pm. A day school for Crèche, Nursery and Primary education. Our children are between the ages of 2 months to 11 years old.
HDSchool began in July 1st, 2007 with a 2-months old baby. We accept children of all races and religions, treating each with respect. We encourage students to be life- long learners by instilling in them our core values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Accountability and Love.
We operate an Open-Door Policy with all stakeholders and ready to take feedback. We value academic success and also encourage talents of all kinds which include and not limited to arts, drama, music, public speaking, dance and sports. We believe a happy child is a successful child and we work to ensure every child enjoys school and achieves success.

Our teaching skills are innovative, consciously designed to promote creativity, self-expression, analytical and critical thinking. We are child-centred in our learning and a good collaboration between our students and teachers are evident. A good combination of traditional and modern learning with self-project works are given to our student to boost their thinking and creative skills. It helps in students’ independent learning. Our children are active during teaching/learning activities and are good listeners. They are always very excited to participate in internal and external competitions in which they come out among the tops.

In HDSchool, no child is left behind as we ensure every learner is well engaged. We practice differentiation and inclusion to promote individual learning putting into perspective the visual, kinesthetic and auditory learners. We tailor our teaching to soothe every child’s needs.
