Happy Days School Celebrates Stellar Second Place Victory at Elementary Science Olympiad!
The air at Happy Days School is buzzing with pride and excitement! We are thrilled to announce our incredible students’ remarkable achievement at the recent Elementary Science Olympiad held in Lagos State, where their dedication, ingenuity, and passion for science earned our school a fantastic second-place victory!
This outstanding result is a testament to the hard work, collaborative spirit, and sharp minds of our young scientists who tackled a diverse range of challenges with enthusiasm and skill. From constructing gravity-defying pasta structures in the Pastamobile event to launching impressive projectiles in the Water Rocket competition, our students showcased their creativity and engineering prowess.
In the realm of scientific knowledge, our participants demonstrated a deep understanding of the human body in A for Anatomy and a keen ability to interpret data in Grasp a Graph. Their performance in these events highlights their commitment to learning and their capacity for critical thinking.
The Olympiad also tested their problem-solving abilities through engaging mysteries. In Mystery Architecture, they used their spatial reasoning and structural knowledge to unravel a design puzzle. The Mystery Powder challenge saw them employing their observational and analytical skills to identify unknown substances. Furthermore, their understanding of fundamental chemistry was evident in the Mixture, Element, and Compounds event.
